We use these skills every day to learn\, work\, and manage daily life. Trouble with executive function can make it hard to focus\, follow directions\, and handle emotions\, among other things. Occupational therapist Lesley Geyer will review the different executive function skills\, discuss some of the problems people have with these skills and offer some strategies that work to help people improve their functioning.\n\nLesley Austin Geyer\, MA\, OTR/L is an occupational therapist with over 40 years of experience and is currently providing school-based telehealth services. She has published and presented locally and nationally on topics related to children with disabilities and has advanced training and certification in Sensory Integration. He is a cognitive and behavioral psychologist who specializes in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
